Top Threes for 9/22/2011

As always, I'm terrible at keeping up with this blog. Before I hit the vacation time, I thought I would give a good post. I will be back on Tuesday, October 3rd. Top three's of today:

 #1- Facebook Timeline
Facebook has made some major profile changes over the past few days. At f8, Mark Zuckerberg announced the new Facebook Timeline, which will give you a new way to "express who you are". Cool change, but Facebook users seem disgruntled with the changes that have been made thus far, so their acceptance of the new timeline might be an obstacle for Facebook to overcome. The changes aren't that bad, however, because everyone is still using it! As many as 500 million people have been on Facebook in a single day.

#2 - Baby Monitor Evoz Old-fashioned baby monitors are for old fuddy-duddies.. introducing Evoz, the baby monitor that uses your iOS phone, iPhone or iPad as the receiver. You will receive a text or email when your baby cries, and the app will monitor the baby's "stats" and compare it with other babies to see how colicky they are, etc.

#3 - 3 better ways to obtain better gas mileage with your smartphone Makeuseof.com is a blog that any techie/productivity junkie should subscribe to. Finding ways to get better gas mileage in our vehicles is always on our minds lately, but especially mine since I will be trekking to North Carolina in a Ford Expedition that gets around 18 miles to the gallon on the highway. These are all Android (sorry, iPhone users).
