3 Sites of the Day October 19th

So, it's time to be real here, blogosphere.

I'm a full-time employee going to graduate school half-time with two children, church commitments and a whole host of friends cause I'm really *that* awesome (sarcasm intended). I'm trying to get rid of Lymes, had pnuemonia already since school started, and watching my husband pass a kidney stone.

This blog is not working for me. Not in it's format, anyway.

Remember: The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, with the same results, and never changing.

But I still have so much to share with you!

So, I will be sharing 3 websites a day that are *kewlness*. That's it. Just 3, no special categories, etc. Just 3 sites for you to check out.

Take a deep breath... wait for it... ok here you go:

1. Fyesta

Do you know about Foursquare? Fyesta is just like this, except you check-in before you get there. What's the purpose: You can gather people together who follow you on this site to make plans! Kind of neat, somewhat stalkerish, might be fun. Remember to share with care!

2. Cookdinner

Meal-planning+Web2.0+recipes=amazing. A gathering of recipes with ratings, beautiful photos of delicious food, and the ability to indicate what days you are cooking on along with the servings and have a meal plan generated for you... it's like I'm in a dream. Except they included fish on the menu. Fish is not cool in my house.

I can hear the complaining now..

"You know I hate fish.. it smells in here.. I want to vomit... "

Anyways.

3. Inveni

Social recommendations for T.V. and movies. Find movies and T.V. shows based on a recommender algorithm or on your friends preferences. Imports data from other movie sites - flixster, rotten tomatoes, and IMDB. Doesn't import from MovieLens, which is a massive fail. Yet, worth exploring, and I will probably use this site more. When I have time.

Whenever that is.

Hope you are enjoying your week,

Angie
